The general assembly finds as a fact that, of the revenue from the tax imposed by section5735.05of the Revised Code, one per cent is attributable to the operation of motor vehicles upon waters within the boundaries of this state. Of this amount, seven-eighths shall be credited to the waterways safety fund and shall be used for the purposes of sections1547.71to1547.77of the Revised Code, and one-eighth shall be credited to the wildlife boater angler fund and shall be used for the purposes specified in section1531.35of the Revised Code.
