When the compensation, damages, and expenses of an improvement, other than the portion thereof to be specially assessed against benefited real estate, are to be paid in part by the county and in part by the townships in which such improvement is situated, under an agreement between the board of county commissioners and the boards of township trustees entered into under section5555.41or5555.43of the Revised Code, the part of such compensation, damages, and expenses to be paid by the interested townships may be paid from the proceeds of any levy made by the board of county commissioners under section5555.49of the Revised Code or from the proceeds of any levy made by the boards of township trustees under section5573.13of the Revised Code.
