Text
(A)As used in this section, "veteran" means any person who has completed service in the armed forces of the United States and who has been honorably discharged under honorable conditions from the armed forces, or who has been transferred to the reserve with evidence of satisfactory service.
(B)No person is eligible for appointment to the position of chief mobile training officer or the position of regional mobile training officer unless that person meets the following requirements:
(1)The person is a licensed peace officer, as defined in division (A)(1) of section109.71of the Revised Code; or
(2)The person is a veteran, as defined in division (A) of this section; and
(3)The person has met all additional qualifications prescribed by rule adopted under section5502.70of the Revised C
