Text
Voluntary transfer or encumbrance of a registered estate or any interest therein shall be made only as prescribed by sections5309.02to5310.21of the Revised Code, and by entry on the register of land titles. No estate, legal or equitable, in registered land, shall pass by a mere assignment or delivery of a duplicate certificate of title or other instrument.
This section does not apply upon implementation of a resolution of abolition under section5310.38of the Revised Code.
