Text
The department of medicaid, the department of health, and any contracting agency shall deliver a written notice, statement, or order to a nursing facility under sections5165.60to5165.66and5165.69to5165.89of the Revised Code by certified mail, hand delivery, or other means reasonably calculated to provide prompt actual notice. If the notice, statement, or order is mailed, it shall be addressed to the administrator of the facility as indicated in the department's or agency's records. If it is hand delivered, it shall be delivered to a person at the facility who would appear to the average prudent person to have authority to accept it.
