Text
Subject to the approval of the controlling board, the department of youth services may grant and pay financial assistance to defray the county's share of the cost of acquiring or constructing a district detention facility, established under section2152.41of the Revised Code, to any county making application under section2152.43of the Revised Code if the department finds that the application was made in accordance with its rules and the facility or the specifications for the facility meet minimum standards established by the department. No financial assistance shall be granted for defraying the cost of land.
The department shall adopt rules prescribing the minimum standards of construction and condition of existing structures, established under section2152.41of the Revised Code, for which
