A county board of developmental disabilities may, pursuant to a resolution adopted by an affirmative vote of the majority of its members, establish, by agreement with one or more other county boards of developmental disabilities, a residential services consortium to jointly provide residential services and supported living. The agreement shall designate one board to assume the fiscal responsibilities for the consortium. The county auditor of the designated county shall establish a community developmental disabilities residential services fund for the consortium.
