(A)All amounts withheld under section5124.521of the Revised Code from payment due an exiting operator under the medicaid program shall be deposited into the medicaid payment withholding fund created by the controlling board pursuant to section131.35of the Revised Code. Money in the fund shall be used as follows:

(1)To pay an exiting operator when a withholding is released to the exiting operator under section5124.526or5124.527of the Revised Code;

(2)To pay the department of medicaid or department of developmental disabilities, and United States centers for medicare and medicaid services, the amount an exiting operator owes the department of medicaid or department of developmental disabilities and United States centers under the medicaid program.

(B)Amounts paid from the me

(A) All amounts withheld under section5124.521of the Revised Code from payment due an exiting operator under the medicaid program shall be deposited into the medicaid payment withholding fund created by the controlling board pursuant to section131.35of the Revised Code. Money in the fund shall be used as follows:

(1) To pay an exiting operator when a withholding is released to the exiting operator under section5124.526or5124.527of the Revised Code;

(2) To pay the department of medicaid or department of developmental disabilities, and United States centers for medicare and medicaid services, the amount an exiting operator owes the department of medicaid or department of developmental disabilities and United States centers under the medicaid program.

(B) Amounts paid from the medicaid payment withholding fund pursuant to division (A)(2) of this section shall be deposited into the appropriate fund.
