Text
(A)On receipt of an affidavit under section5123.71of the Revised Code, the probate division of the court of common pleas may, if it has probable cause to believe that the person named in the affidavit is a person with an intellectual disability subject to institutionalization by court order and that emergency institutionalization is required, do any of the following:
(1)Issue a temporary order of detention ordering any health or police officer or sheriff to take into custody and transport such person to an institution or other place as designated in section5123.77of the Revised Code;
(2)Order the county board of developmental disabilities to provide services to the individual in the community if the board's assessment of the individual conducted under section5123.711of the Revised Cod
