(A)As used in this section:
(1)"Facility or provider" means, in the context of a person committed to the department of behavioral health under sections2945.37to2945.402of the Revised Code, any entity in which the department of behavioral health places such a person.
(2)"Person committed to the department" means a person committed to the department of behavioral health under sections2945.37to2945.402of the Revised Code.
(B)No member of a board of directors, or employee, of a facility or provider in which the department of behavioral health places a person committed to the department is liable for injury or damages caused by any action or inaction taken within the scope of the board member's official duties or employee's employment relating to the commitment of, and services provided
