Text
The chief clinical officer of a public hospital shall immediately report to the department of behavioral health and the board of alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health services serving the patient's county of residence the removal, death, escape, discharge, or trial visit of any patient hospitalized under section5122.15of the Revised Code, or the return of such an escaped or visiting patient to the department, the probate judge of the county from which such patient was hospitalized, and the probate judge of the county of residence of such patient. In case of death, the chief clinical officer also shall notify one or more of the nearest relatives of the deceased patient, if known to the chief clinical officer, by letter, telegram, or telephone.
