Chapter 5120. of the Revised Code attempts:

(A)To provide humane and scientific treatment and care and the highest attainable degree of individual development for the dependent wards of the state;

(B)To provide for the delinquent, conditions of modern education and training that will restore the largest possible portion of them to useful citizenship;

(C)To promote the study of the causes of dependency and delinquency, and of mental, moral, and physical impairments, with a view to cure and ultimate prevention;

(D)To secure by uniform and systematic management the highest attainable degree of economy in the administration of the state institutions. Such sections shall be liberally construed to attain such purposes. Last updated March 10, 2023 at 12:54 PM
