Text
The director of behavioral health may accept, hold, and administer in trust on behalf of the state, if it is for the public interest, any grant, gift, devise, or bequest of money or property made to the state for the use or benefit of any institution described in section5119.14of the Revised Code or for the use and benefit of persons with mental illnesses under its control. If the trust so provides, the money or property may be used for any work which the department of behavioral health is authorized to undertake.
The department shall keep such gift, grant, devise, or bequest as a distinct property or fund and, if it is in money, shall invest it in the manner provided by law. The department may deposit in a proper trust company or savings bank any money left in trust during a specified li
