A drivers' intervention program may be used as an alternative to a term of imprisonment for an offender sentenced pursuant to division (G)(1)(a) of section4511.19of the Revised Code, if it is certified by the director of behavioral health pursuant to this section. No drivers' intervention program shall be used as an alternative to a term of imprisonment that is imposed pursuant to division (G)(1)(b), (c), (d), or (e) of section4511.19of the Revised Code.
