(A)As used in this section and in sections5107.281to5107.287of the Revised Code:
(1)"Cash assistance payment" means the monthly amount an assistance group is eligible to receive under Ohio works first.
(2)"Parent" means the parent, guardian, custodian, or specified relative with charge or care of a learnfare participant.
(3)"Participating student" means a participant of Ohio works first who is subject to the school attendance requirement of the learnfare program as determined under section5107.281of the Revised Code.
(B)The department of job and family services shall establish the learnfare program. The board of county commissioners of any county may choose to have the county participate in the learnfare program. The county department of job and family services of each participati
