The department of children and youth may apply to the United States secretary of health and human services for a federal grant under the "Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act," 42 U.S.C. 5116, and the "Family First Prevention Services Act," 42 U.S.C. 50711, 50723, and 50741 to assist residential infant care centers certified under section5103.603of the Revised Code in providing temporary residential and other care to infants.
