Text
On receipt of a recommendation from a public children services agency, private child placing agency, or private noncustodial agency regarding an application for a family foster home or treatment foster home certification under section5103.03of the Revised Code, the department of children and youth shall decide whether to issue the certificate. The department shall notify the agency and the applicant of its decision. If the department's decision is different from the recommendation of the agency, the department shall state in the notice the reason that the decision is different from the recommendation.
