The department of job and family services and the department of children and youth, as applicable, may establish performance and other administrative standards for the administration and outcomes of family services duties and determine at intervals the departments decide the degree to which a county family services agency complies with a performance or other administrative standard. The departments may use statistical sampling, performance audits, case reviews, or other methods they determine necessary and appropriate to determine compliance with performance and administrative standards.
