If the state board of emergency medical, fire, and transportation services imposes a suspension on the basis of a conviction, judicial finding, or plea as described in division (A)(3) of section4765.112of the Revised Code that is overturned on appeal, the certificate holder, on exhaustion of the criminal appeal process, may file with the board a petition for reconsideration of the suspension along with appropriate court documents. On receipt of the petition and documents, the board shall reinstate the certificate holder's certificate to practice.
