Text
(A)As used in this section:
(1)"Medication-assisted treatment" has the same meaning as in section340.01of the Revised Code.
(2)"Physician" means an individual authorized by this chapter to practice medicine and surgery or osteopathic medicine and surgery.
(B)A physician shall comply with section3719.064of the Revised Code and rules adopted under section4731.056of the Revised Code when treating a patient with medication-assisted treatment or proposing to initiate such treatment.
