Text

The auditor of state may implement procedures to detect violations of section4731.66or4731.69of the Revised Code within governmental health care programs administered by the state. The auditor of state shall report any violation of either section to the state medical board and shall certify to the attorney general in accordance with section131.02of the Revised Code the amount of any refund owed to a state-administered governmental health care program under section4731.69of the Revised Code as a result of a violation. If a refund is owed to the medicaid program, the auditor of state also shall report the amount to the department of medicaid. The state medical board also may implement procedures to detect violations of section4731.66or4731.69of the Revised Code.
