Text

(A)An individual seeking to pursue an internship, residency, or clinical fellowship program in podiatric medicine and surgery in this state, who does not hold a license to practice podiatric medicine and surgery issued under this chapter, shall apply to the state medical board for a training certificate. The application shall be made on forms that the board shall furnish and shall be accompanied by an application fee of one hundred thirty dollars. An applicant for a training certificate shall furnish to the board all of the following:
(1)Evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant is at least eighteen years of age;
(2)Evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant has been accepted or appointed to participate in this state in one of the following:
(a)An internship,
