If a person licensed under section4729.52or4729.54of the Revised Code ceases to engage in the activities for which the license was issued, the person shall notify the state board of pharmacy of such fact and shall surrender such license to the board within a time frame specified by the board in rules adopted under section4729.26of the Revised Code; provided, that on dissolution of a partnership by death, the surviving partner may operate under a license issued to the partnership until expiration, revocation, or suspension of such license, and the heirs or legal representatives of deceased persons, and receivers and trustees in bankruptcy appointed by any competent authority, may operate under the license issued to the persons succeeded in possession by such heir, representative, receiver,
