A pharmacist may provide telehealth services in accordance with section4743.09of the Revised Code, except that in the case of dispensing a dangerous drug, a pharmacist shall not use telehealth mechanisms or other virtual means to perform any of the actions involved in dispensing the dangerous drug unless the action is authorized by section4729.554of the Revised Code or by the state board of pharmacy through rules it adopts under section4743.09of the Revised Code.
