(A)For purposes of division (D)(4)(b) of section2925.14of the Revised Code, and subject to division (B) of this section, the state board of pharmacy shall adopt rules establishing standards and procedures for its approval of types of instruments that are not to be considered drug paraphernalia because they demonstrate efficacy in reducing drug poisoning by determining the presence of a specific compound or group of compounds. The rules shall be adopted in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code.
(B)Under this section, the board shall not approve any type of instrument to the extent that the instrument is intended to measure the purity of a mixture. Last updated August 28, 2025 at 3:31 PM
