Section4725.41of the Revised Code does not apply to a nonresident person who holds in good standing a valid license from another state to engage in optical dispensing and is engaging in optical dispensing as a volunteer without remuneration during a charitable event that lasts not more than seven days.
When a person meets the conditions of this section, the person shall be deemed to hold, during the course of the charitable event, a license to engage in optical dispensing from the state vision professionals board and shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter authorizing the board to take disciplinary action against a license holder.
