(A)The state vision professionals board shall be responsible for the administration of sections4725.40to4725.59of the Revised Code and, in particular, shall process applications for licensure as licensed dispensing opticians; schedule, administer, and supervise the qualifying examinations for licensure or contract with a testing service to schedule, administer, and supervise the qualifying examination for licensure; issue licenses to qualified individuals; and revoke and suspend licenses.
(B)The board shall adopt, amend, or rescind rules, pursuant to Chapter 119. of the Revised Code, for the licensure of dispensing opticians, and such other rules as are required by or necessary to carry out the responsibilities imposed by sections4725.40to4725.59of the Revised Code, including rules esta
