The state vision professionals board may issue a cease-and-desist order against any person engaging in the practice of optometry without having received a license under sections4725.01to4725.34of the Revised Code that the board reasonably suspects has violated, is currently violating, or is about to violate this chapter. The board's authority to issue a cease-and-desist order under this section is in addition to any action the board may take under section4725.23of the Revised Code.
