A dialysis technician certificate issued under  section4723.75of the Revised Code expires biennially and shall  be renewed according to a schedule established by the board of  nursing in rules adopted under section4723.79of the Revised  Code. An application for renewal of a dialysis technician  certificate shall be accompanied by the renewal fee established in  rules adopted by the board under section4723.79of the Revised  Code. A certificate may be renewed only if, during the period for  which the certificate was issued, the certificate holder satisfied  the continuing education requirements established by the board's  rules. Of the hours of continuing education completed during the  period for which the dialysis technician certificate was issued,  at least one hour of the education must
