For purposes of sections173.521,173.542,3701.162,3721.01,3721.011,3721.041,3727.19,3742.03,3742.04,3742.07,3923.25,4506.07,4507.06,4507.08,4507.081, and4507.141of the Revised Code, a certified nurse-midwife may sign documents or take related actions under those sections only if the nurse's scope of practice, as determined in accordance with section4723.43of the Revised Code and standards established by the board of nursing, authorizes the nurse to practice in the manner described in those sections.
