(A)When a nonresident's operating privilege is suspended pursuant to section4509.101,4509.17, or4509.24of the Revised Code for a violation of any provision of sections4509.01to4509.78of the Revised Code, the registrar of motor vehicles shall transmit a certified copy of the record of such action to the official in charge of the issuance of licenses and registration certificates in the state in which such nonresident resides, if the law of such other state provides for action in relation thereto similar to the provision set forth in division (B) of this section.
