(A)When a nonresident's operating privilege is suspended pursuant to section4509.101,4509.17, or4509.24of the Revised Code for a violation of any provision of sections4509.01to4509.78of the Revised Code, the registrar of motor vehicles shall transmit a certified copy of the record of such action to the official in charge of the issuance of licenses and registration certificates in the state in which such nonresident resides, if the law of such other state provides for action in relation thereto similar to the provision set forth in division (B) of this section.

(B)Upon receipt of a certification that the operating privilege of a resident of this state has been suspended or revoked in any other state pursuant to a law providing for its suspension or revocation for failure to deposit secu

(B) Upon receipt of a certification that the operating privilege of a resident of this state has been suspended or revoked in any other state pursuant to a law providing for its suspension or revocation for failure to deposit security for the payment of judgments arising out of a motor vehicle accident or failure to give proof of financial responsibility, under circumstances which would require the registrar to suspend a nonresident's operating privilege had the accident occurred in this state, the registrar shall impose a class F suspension of the person's driver's license, commercial driver's license, temporary instruction permit, probationary license, or nonresident operating privilege for the period of time specified in division (B)(6) of section4510.02of the Revised Code on the person and all registrations of such resident. Such suspension shall continue until such resident furnishes evidence of the person's compliance with the law of such other state relating to the deposit of such security or to the giving of proof of financial responsibility.
