§ 4509.26 — Termination of suspension

Text

Unless a suspension is terminated under other provisions of sections4509.01to4509.78, inclusive, of the Revised Code, any order of suspension by the registrar of motor vehicles under such sections shall remain in effect and no license shall be renewed for or issued to any person whose license is suspended and no registration shall be renewed for or issued to any person whose motor vehicle registration is suspended until either of the following happens:

(A)There is deposited on his behalf the security required under section4509.12of the Revised Code.
(B)Two years have elapsed following the date of the accident and satisfactory evidence has been filed with the registrar of motor vehicles that during such period no action for damages arising out of the accident resulting in the suspension
