Text
If a person's driver's license, commercial driver's license, or nonresident operating privilege is suspended, disqualified, or canceled for an indefinite period of time or for a period of at least ninety days, and if at the end of the period of suspension, disqualification, or cancellation the person is eligible to have the license or privilege reinstated, the registrar of motor vehicles or an eligible deputy registrar shall collect a reinstatement fee of forty dollars when the person requests reinstatement. In addition, each deputy registrar shall collect a service fee of ten dollars to compensate the deputy registrar for services performed under this section.
