Text

The registrar of motor vehicles or deputy registrar shall ask each person applying for or renewing a special license plate after July 1, 2009, under Chapter 4503. of the Revised Code and paying a contribution to an organization for issuance of the special license plate, whether the person consents to contact from the organization sponsoring the special license plate. The applicant shall sign a form provided by the registrar granting or withholding such consent to contact. Pursuant to division (B)(2)(n) of section4501.27of the Revised Code, the registrar, upon request from the organization, may provide to the organization a list of the names and addresses of those applicants who have consented to contact.
