Text

There is hereby created in the state treasury the scenic rivers protection fund. The fund shall consist of the donations to the fund received by the department of natural resources under section1517.02of the Revised Code and the contributions not to exceed forty dollars that are paid to the registrar of motor vehicles by applicants who voluntarily choose to obtain scenic rivers license plates pursuant to section4503.56of the Revised Code. The donations and contributions deposited in the fund shall be used by the department to help finance conservation, education, protection, restoration, and habitat enhancement and clean-up projects within the watersheds of wild, scenic, and recreational rivers.
