Text

Keepers of garages, parking lots, or other places where motor vehicles of any kind are stored or left for repair or for any other purpose, or any employee of any such person, who knows or becomes aware of the fact that any motor vehicle so stored or left has upon it, or in it, bullet marks, gunshot marks, blood stains, or marks or evidence of any crime, shall immediately report the facts to the police of a municipal corporation, a sheriff of the county, or a state highway patrol trooper. Whoever violates this section shall forfeit not more than one hundred dollars, to be recovered on petition as in civil cases, filed by the prosecuting attorney, in the name of the state of Ohio, in the court of common pleas in the county in which such place is located.
