Sections4101.01to4101.16and4121.01to4121.29of the Revised Code do not deprive the legislative authority of any municipal corporation or any board of trustees or officer of any municipal corporation of any power or jurisdiction over or relative to any place of employment, provided that whenever the bureau of workers' compensation, by an order, fixes a standard of safety or any hygienic condition for employments or places of employment, the order shall, upon the filing by the bureau of a copy thereof with the clerk of the municipal corporation to which it applies, be held to amend or modify any similar conflicting local order in any particular matters governed by the order. Thereafter, no local officer shall make or enforce any order to the contrary.
