Text

No insurer shall consider the issuance of a ticket for a civil violation under section4511.097of the Revised Code to an applicant or policyholder, or an admission or finding of liability related to such a ticket, as a basis for doing either of the following:

(A)Refusing to issue or deliver a policy of insurance upon a private automobile or increasing the rate to be charged for such a policy;
(B)Increasing the premium rate, canceling, or failing to renew an existing policy of insurance upon a private automobile.
