(A)As used in this section:
(1)"Health care insurer" means any person legally engaged in the business of providing sickness and accident insurance contracts in this state, a health insuring corporation organized under Chapter 1751. of the Revised Code, or any legal entity that is self-insured and provides health care benefits to its employees or members.
(2)"Small employer" has the same meaning as in section3924.01of the Revised Code.
(B)(1) Subject to division (B)(2) of this section, nothing in sections3924.61to3924.74of the Revised Code shall be construed to limit the rights, privileges, or protections of employees or small employers under sections3924.01to3924.06of the Revised Code.
