Text

For the purpose of sections3904.01to3904.22of the Revised Code, an insurance support organization transacting business outside this state that has an effect on a person residing in this state is deemed to have appointed the superintendent of insurance to accept service of process on its behalf, provided the superintendent causes a copy of such service to be mailed forthwith by registered mail to the insurance support organization at its last known principal place of business. The return postcard receipt for the mailing is sufficient proof that the copy of the service of process was properly mailed by the superintendent.
