Text

(A)At the request of the director of health or a board of health, a prosecuting attorney, city director of law, village solicitor, or similar chief legal officer may commence a criminal action against any person who violates any provision of section3742.02,3742.06, or3742.07of the Revised Code, any rule adopted under this chapter that is directly related to any of the provisions of those sections, or any order issued pursuant to this chapter that is directly related to any of the provisions of those sections.
(B)Upon conviction, the person is subject to:
(1)A fine of not more than one thousand dollars or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both, for a first offense;
(2)A fine of at least one thousand but not more than five thousand dollars or imprisonment for at least si
