(A)Except as provided in sections5153.171to5153.173of the Revised Code, any record, document, report, or other information presented to a fetal-infant mortality review board or a person abstracting such materials on the board's behalf, statements made by board members during board meetings, all work products of the board, and data submitted by the board to the department of health or a national infant death review database, other than the report prepared pursuant to section3707.77of the Revised Code, are confidential. Such materials shall be used by the board and department of health only in the exercise of the proper functions of the review board and the department.
