Text
(A)The department of health shall issue a foreign birth record as follows:
(1)On receipt of the items sent by a probate court pursuant to section3107.19of the Revised Code concerning the adoption of a person born in a foreign country, unless the adoptive parents or adopted person over eighteen years of age requests that such record not be issued;
(2)On receipt of an order issued under section3107.18of the Revised Code.
(B)A foreign birth record shall be the same in all respects as a birth record issued under section3705.12of the Revised Code, except that it shall show the actual country of birth. After registration of the birth record in the new name of the adopted person, the department shall place the items sent by the probate court in an adoption file and seal the file
