Text

(A)Each motor bus, as defined in section4501.01of the Revised Code, that is owned or operated by a transit system, authority, or commission organized under Chapter 306. or 747. of the Revised Code or under a municipal or county charter or ordinance and within a county that is subject to section3704.14of the Revised Code shall meet emission standards for hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and, in the case of diesel fueled motor buses, particulate opacity established by the director of environmental protection under rules adopted under division (B) of this section.
(B)In accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code, the director shall adopt, and may amend and rescind, rules necessary for the implementation, administration, operation, and enforcement of this section.
