(A)As used in this section, "direct care" and "home health agency" have the same meanings as in section3740.01of the Revised Code.
(B)For the purpose of identifying jobs that are in demand in this state under section6301.11of the Revised Code, direct care provided by a home health agency shall be considered a targeted industry sector as identified by the governor's office of workforce transformation.
(C)The director of job and family services shall review the criteria for any program that provides occupational training, adult education, or career pathway assistance through a grant or other source of funding to determine whether an employee of a home health agency may participate in the program, and, to the extent possible, make any necessary changes to the criteria to allow a home hea
