The board of trustees of a state college or university which operates a clinical teaching or research hospital or ambulatory facility may purchase liability insurance for the agents, employees, students, nurses, interns, and resident physicians of such hospital against all liability arising from their performance of services on behalf of such hospital or facility.
The boards of trustees of the northeast Ohio medical university, Ohio university, and the Wright state university if they provide clinical instruction programs in the facilities of a hospital not operated by the university, may purchase liability insurance for agents, employees, students, nurses, interns, and resident physicians performing services in relation to such hospital against all liability arising from their
