Text
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a member of a board of trustees of an institution of higher education, as defined in section3345.12of the Revised Code, is not liable in damages in a civil action for injury, death, or loss to person or property that allegedly is caused by an expenditure made or a contract entered into by the institution of higher education unless the trustee acted with malicious purpose, in bad faith, or in a wanton or reckless manner with respect to the expenditure or contract.
