Text
(A)The state board of education may establish an annual teacher of the year recognition program for outstanding teachers.
(B)Notwithstanding division (A) of section2921.43of the Revised Code, a person or entity may make a voluntary contribution to the recognition program described in division (A) of this section.
(C)Notwithstanding division (A) of section2921.43of the Revised Code, a teacher who is recognized as a teacher of the year by the recognition program described in division (A) of this section may accept gifts and privileges as part of the recognition program.
