Text
(A)Beginning July 1, 2019, the state board of education shall issue educator licenses for substitute teaching only under this section.
(B)Except as provided in division (E) of this section, the state board shall adopt rules establishing standards and requirements for obtaining a license under this section and for renewal of the license. Except as provided in division (G) of section3319.229of the Revised Code, the rules shall require an applicant to hold a post-secondary degree, but not in any specified subject area. The rules also shall allow the holder of a license issued under this section to work:
(1)For an unlimited number of school days if the license holder has a post-secondary degree in either education or a subject area directly related to the subject of the class the license
