(A)For purposes of this section, "competency-based educational program" and "eligible individual" have the same meanings as in section3317.23of the Revised Code.
(B)An eligible individual may enroll in a joint vocational school district that operates an adult education program for up to two cumulative school years for the purpose of completing the requirements to earn a high school diploma. An individual enrolled under this division may elect to satisfy these requirements by successfully completing a competency-based educational program that complies with the standards adopted by the department of education and workforce under section3317.231of the Revised Code.
